Double Inequalities

Summary

  • \(a<x<b \) means \(x>a\) and \(x<b\)
  • \(a≤x<b \) means \(x≥a\) and \(x<b\)
  • \(a<x≤b \) means \(x>a\) and \(x≤b\)
  • \(a≤x≤b \) means \(x≥a\) and \(x≤b\)
  • Avoid all other types of double inequalities such as \(a>x<b\) or \(a>x>b\) .
