Preference symbols
Two bundles: \(\left( x_1,x_2 \right)\) and \(\left( y_1,y_2 \right)\)
- \(\left( x_1,x_2 \right)≻\left( y_1,y_2 \right)\) : the consumer strictly prefer s the first bundle to the second
- \(\left( x_1,x_2 \right)≺\left( y_1,y_2 \right)\) : the consumer strictly prefer s the second bundle to the first
- \(\left( x_1,x_2 \right)∼\left( y_1,y_2 \right)\) : the consumer is indifferent between the bundles
- \(\left( x_1,x_2 \right)≽\left( y_1,y_2 \right)\) : the consumer weakly prefer s the first bundle to the second
- \(\left( x_1,x_2 \right)≼\left( y_1,y_2 \right)\) : the consumer weakly prefer s the second bundle to the first
