Probabilities from the chi-square
Problem
\(Y ~ χ_6^2\) . Use table or software (Eviews, Excel, Wolfram aplha, calculator,...) to find
- \(P\left( Y>10 \right)\)
- \(P\left( Y<3 \right)\)
- \(P(4<Y<9)\)
- \(y\) such that \(P\left( Y>y \right)=0.05\) (This is a critical value denoted by \(χ_{0.05,6}^2\) )
- I you solved e) using software, solve it using a table (and vice versa)
